L is sized for 1/100 scale standard-sized mobile suits. Ex. MG RX-78-2 Gundam, MG Sniper II.

XL is sized for 1/100 scale larger-sized mobile suits. Ex. MG Hi Nu Gundam, MG Unicorn Gundam.
