★★★★★High Quality resin kit
April 2, 2022

The kit has very few flaws, most of them in the way construction is depicted or explained. Some parts called for cant be used from the frame, while others are omitted in call-out. You'll want to really explore the manual to figure out what is necessary for a straightforward and solid build. Things the product description doesn't detail is the inclusion of neodymium magnets for holding weapons to the backpack, the full sheet of precut masking, and the mag switch for the included mono-eye LED kit. Parts fit amazingly well, have a high degree of detail without trying to clutter the surface with lines and panels. Although there are a few seamlines (literally just a few), they're not in weird spots or hard to handle, and the masking is not even necessary unless you're not going with canon paint scheme or aren't comfortable hand painting the 'sleeves' embellishments. I prefer hand-painting them and the sculpting make that very doable. For an addendum to the manual, I have a write up and details on it here: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1artpr8g6rv4a1mYlfizr1mujssY5Q9gk/edit?usp=sharing&ouid=104818422738672412116&rtpof=true&sd=true

From addressing the dual cannons to adding detail under the wings, the Wing Zero Ver Ka is a much deserved update to this kit. Using more detailed molds, if you enjoy painting the pilot figures, Heero Yuy looks better and the added suit details add depth to the overall design along with the color separation. Some have complained about the chest vents popping off, but they snap in place and require above average pressure to seat them. Overall, it is a fairly easy Ver Ka kit compared to others, on par with Sinanju Stein in stability and ease of build, but like all Wing suits, small compared to UC suits. If you're looking for a fun kit with good shelf presence, an ability to take and hold a wide range of dynamic poses, but also only take a few days to build and full paint - this is a good landing point.

★★★★★Very well done conversion

This was my first resin kit, and I've heard horror stories about how difficult, tedious, and poor quality some can be. This kit was none of the above. Basically, if you're comfortable masking, hand painting, and enjoy detail work this kit is stellar. The parts fit with minimal modification to the core frame and the resin parts fit together very well (even has markings on them to denote which side or which half they're for). The only point to make is the booster LEDs aren't very practical to install since there no real way to turn them off without disassembling the booster exhaust, but it is a very nice touch if you're someone who would find it worth the time and effort.
