Looks great after the build but all the extra equipment bogs down an already precarious ver. Ka design. It really ends up being a big brick that stands there looking very good. Be prepared for the monotony of repeated steps on all the equipment. The booster bed, while cool, will most likely never be used in shelf display...

I thought the build would be super quick and easy and I'd be able to get to painting in the same day. Boy, was this kit a super detailed build and took me all afternoon to put together. While the end result has no articulation (head can pivot a little), the silhouette and details are crisp and worthy of a place in any display (especially when dressed up past the base brown plastic). Highly recommended for any dino and science fans.

Plastic quality: somewhere between Bandai and Kotobukiya. Not as great and smooth as Bandai, but also better than a lot of Koto’s hard plastics. Engineering: Has some fit issues. Some parts/joints are loose while others are hard to snap together. There are some obvious seam lines. Nicely color-separated for what it is, but not completely color accurate. The pre-printed faces are good. Articulation can be somewhat limited. Overall: Great kit and definitely exceeded what I expected out of it. The design is cute and unique. I can see it being a great base kit for customs and kitbashes. Note: there is an error in the instructions but is easy enough to spot.

I don’t like Koto’s plastic as much as Bandai’s. That said, the kit is easy to put together, requires no stickers or decals, and embodies modern styling. It can easily be part of a diorama or customized to taste.

Amazing when paired with lacquer paints (Mr. Hobby, G-Paints, Gaia/Nazca). I use it to both thin paints and clear out the cup during color swaps. Does an amazing job even in small quantities.

The details and overall proportions are great. There is a lot of color accents that aren’t separate parts (though quite a few are understandable) and end up as stickers. As always, the print quality of the face plates are top-notch.

Combines the awesome SDCS Zaku with a fixed-pose Hello Kitty. The special helmet is super cute and there is the optional pink mono-eye sticker for it. It can be separated into just the two different characters, but that isn’t really why you buy this kit.

Slightly dated in terms of tech and engineering of the kit. But the finished kit looks a million bucks. The minimal surface detail is both a blessing and a curse: heaven for modification but not much to look at out-of-box. The real fun is in all the accessories that come with it. Not only do you get most of the Ground GM’s load out, the main sniper rifle and pack+generator changes the game for grunt suits. Love it. If you haven’t built one, put it on a wishlist and get it.

Like other QUICK models, this kit is simple with few parts. Great for young/beginner modelers to start out while also giving more experienced modelers a good base to do custom colors. If I remember correctly from my build, the only stickers provided are for the eyes and pink soles of the feet.

Though the MG Unicorn gets a pretty bad rap for being flimsy, there’s no worries when it’s displayed with the cage base. The colors are slightly pearlized blue and gloss white. It includes three v-fins for convenience: transforming, fixed single, and fixed open. The accessories are nice, with the beam magnum being able to cycle through e-packs.

It technically shouldn't as the KOSMOS set bypasses the shell unit parts and replaces it with photo-etch patterns to get the same looks when lit from behind. If you find the SH isn't letting the light through, you can replace it with the KOSMOS parts. The other bits shouldn't be a hindrance to cable organization.
