Does these vintage styles require glue to build? They are not snap to build so I'd assume glue is required.

Acrylic sanding boards, I'm not sure how they work. Anyone have a tutorial link or something to learn about them more?

Use an adhesive sandpaper or double-sided tape with regular sandpaper. Fit the board onto the paper and trim the excess. Sand your pieces. Change out the paper as necessary.

I'm sure it's a typo but it says 1/100 FM but under it the scale says 1/144. Is the 1/144 just an error typo?

Yep, that's a typo. Gundam FM kits are all 1/100 scale.
