Look, this little guy is 3 runners (minus the PC). They did this with THREE runners. Cheap, quick to build, easy to customize.

I've used this for a few different models. The pieces all work out just right, though a touch of glue might help front half from falling apart from the middle section (maybe that was just me)!

Lads, this is one of the best HG that I've ever build. This is almost something between High Grade and Real Great, or some sort of HG+, especially with those panel lines and details. Do yourself a favor: Get it. Just do it.

It's a solid grunt suit, that is ripe for customization and painting. Articulation is great and it's solid as a rock.

Tell you one thing about these SD World Hero kits, they're really really detailed. The downside is that that means they come with a huge sheet of color correcting stickers. On the flip side, if you like to paint, you have a great project in front of you.

If you're a Kampfer stan then you need to have this. At worst it's a good desk onement. At best it's a painting project!

If you build SD kits, you know what to expect. Prepare to paint, or a lot of color correcting stickers. The wide open panels would make it easy to paint, however!

This is my first Frame Arms kit but I hope not the last. This one left a bit of a bad taste in my mouth. Despite having fun recoloring it after I finished the initial build, there are some parts that are very loose. It is hard to pose on its own without an action base or stand as the legs would spread after just a few moments. The 2-point waist joint was excessively loose and required tightening to stop the torse from wobbling forward and back.
It's a standard BF palette swap that we see often in the Build series, but that makes it just as solid as the kit it's based on. My largest complaint is the color correcting stickers on the rifle and housing around the boosters on the backpack but even a few stickers to correct color isn't unusual for a HG.

So far all of the Entry Grades released have found a way to cut down on complicated parts, yet still maintain a good final product. This makes them great for beginners and those that want to try painting projects on cheap, yet familiar suits. Need to practice weathering or battle damage? Throw a EG together and go for it!

This is the full kit consisting of the AIS mecha and Vega Unit add-on pack. There is a separate listing for just the Vega Unit.

The only thing that's a little bit different is the shoulders - two new joints making it more inline with normal modern HG (kitbashing).
September 6, 2022I don't imagine it's intended for that, but someone did rate it a 5 and said it's great for water decals. I imagine "It's not made for that, but your mileage my very and hey, it's creative to try." would be a good answer.
September 6, 2022My understanding is that it is - uses the same backpack config.
