it’s almost 14 inches tall, is surprisingly solid, quick and easy to build, comes with a small sheet of waterslides, and has plenty of room to panel line. you don’t need to use a pair of nippers for this beast, but just know a minor bit of cleanup might be necessary for some parts. most the joints are super sturdy, almost ratchety for extra strength.

The Epyon is in my top 10 for my favorite MS designs of all time, this rendition outdoes the master grade in every way imaginable. the build was fluid, there was plenty of undergating so everything looks flawless, the shield’s tail articulates beautifully, and no stickers are required for the eyes. the design is a perfect blend between the tv version of epyon and the endless waltz redesign, the two shades of red add so much depth to this kit. there are no visible seam lines anywhere. why are you still reading this???? get this now

as all of you may know at this point: all but one wfm hgs do not come with open hands (darilbalde & schwarzette excluded). this dinky little backpack is the only way you can get these open hands for the aerial, aerial rebuild, & calibarn. i mean yeah, the flight unit looks decent enough but most of us buying this are in it for the widespread fingies.

don’t take this or any of the other reviews with a grain of salt, this big bad zaku can easily take up a large amount of real estate on your shelves. the zaku itself is about average size for a mg but factor in the absurdly large boosters and its almost 2 feet in length; so before you invest in this make sure you have a designated spot for this behemoth. as for the zaku itself it’s pretty good. build is pretty fun and it has plenty of detail but putting the bags on the joints & pipes can be a tad bit frustrating, still less frustrating than the full armor ver.ka. plus it comes with an entire arsenal of weaponry to choose from. only downsides to this kit would be its lack of customizable hands and a slightly below average range of articulation. but neither of those things really matter in the bigger picture because once attacked to the booster and included stand its a very long statue. overall: 7.8/10

I knew absolutely nothing about this kit other than the fact that it was an Astray, and it was big. Opening up the box i was surprised to see that it cane with a few die-cast metal parts, foam padding, a protective piece for the tip of the gerbera straight, and a disassembled LED unit. The metal parts adds an extra layer of solidity to the joints, plus they also include light ratchet joints in some places. The only real issue i had assembling this beast was the LED. It felt like a balancing act trying to get the light in without the springs falling out. Kinda hoping it came with a battery (CR1220 not included) but the light piping in the head is pretty decent. Overall i'd say this has to be one of the most entertaining perfect grade builds out there, definitely up with the PGU RX-78-2 & the Unicorn.

When this was announced i kinda just disregarded the whole thing as just a repeat of the same thing that'll happen as the IBO line of FM kits. But seeing how Bandai have been getting their act together with this line of model kits over the past 2 years was enough for me to cave in and buy it, and boy is it SOOOOO worth it. The sheer level of detail on this is leagues above the already gorgeous HG Aerial, and the gimmicks alone makes it feel like it should've been MG. It was also a surprisingly simple build, what's there not to love about it???? This is FM at it's best and for once i'm kinda excited to see where they take it from here.

Out of all of the Wing Zero kits out there, this one easily takes the throne of the best of the bunch only with the RG following in second by a good margin. As for MG standards, this makes the standard MG Wing Zero completely obsolete as it approves on all of the faults that dinosaur had and goes above and beyond in terms of detail and engineering in the Ver.Ka line.

Bandai Hobby seems to have a bit of a bias towards the grunt suits because for such a simple build, the MG Jesta is fantastic. Although with mine, the F1 runner had no wrap around it so i got a little worried but thats less to do with the kit and more of a packaging concern. Of course there are other minor gripes like the 3.0 hands which are a nightmare as well as the use of polycaps which had me worried when i unboxed it all. But it is in fact a surprisingly solid build.

i know earlier prints of this kit have little to no joint tolerance issues but i got mine and the left arm is incredibly loose. it's old age is really catching up to it quickly as 4 days later i went to change its pose and the whole arm just fell off. of course there are other issues like the ridiculous amount of color inaccuracies so if you got the time to paint it, there is always that. not to mention the lack of range of articulation it has. it's a pretty bulky kit so it's to expect but it even fails to go below that bar. extremely limited neck movement, very weird & unwieldy shoulders. can barely hold the rifle upright, front skirt is loose, and plenty more. the last thing the hrairoo has to offer is a transformation, and for a hg kit i didn't expect much from it. lots of partsforming and a lot of loose dangly bits here & there. the base it comes with is really only good for it's alternate form. in it's ms mode the connector on the crotch is frustratingly loose so have fun getting it on that base. price wise, for a larger than average kit it's kinda worth it but if you want something that is decent out of box i'd move on to another kit
Let me get the obvious out of the way and say that this thing is massive. Its about the size of a PG kit and can make most of your HGs look tiny. It's a shockingly simple build but it does come with screws so hopefully you do have a screwdriver on hand. It's transformation is pretty good for gunpla standards but still has some of the minor issues that most other transformable suits have. Not to mention this thing's design looks like it came straight out of the 80's era of mecha. Only thing to look out for in the build are the hands. they do tend to pop out while assembling
