What a kit. Inner frame is beautiful, complex but sturdy. Outer armor is detailed and well fitted. Nothing falls off or jams up. It’s an immensely well thought out kit.

Overall this is a really good little HG. Its solid, simple in the build, but very posable and detiailed. The color looks good out of box though I did paint mine. The weapons loadout is pretty good too and the net gun is a unique addtion to the kit. Really nice grunt suit.

Overall, an awesome kit. Great build experience, highly detailed across the board. The more effort you put in (paint, panel line, decals) the better it gets. Its got an awesome shelf presence and stands out. My only qualm is that with how chunky it is, posing is hard. You really do need an action base to pose this guy properly. The size of the limbs does get in the way of more complex poses but overally, its not hard to make it look good on display.

Coming from the Unicorn era of MGs, this is shockingly one of the more solid transforming kits of that era. The MG Delta Plus being a hand grenade of course. This kit was a good build overall, with a fair bit of detail (could use more panel lines and color separation). Overall I am less of a fan of the massvie amoutn of uninterrupted blue coloring on this kit. Eventually i'll get around to repainting some of it. The body itself is a pretty cool ultra futuristic looking MS. Its head is quite a good looking bit as well. Transformation wise, i never got round to it as it looked too complex and the one time i tried, I gave up early on. i didnt want to break the kit by trying to tranform it. Overall, its a decent MG. About what one would expect from this era. If you love Gundam Unicorn and want all the MGs from the OVA , get it, otherwise, there are better ones out there.

This has to be one of the most iconic MGs ever released. The color is perfect, the details amazing, articulation 9/10, and it is SOLID (despite heavy polycap use). No qualms about this aside from its price, but with it being gold plated, thats not shocking. Well worth every penny. Just watch out for the fragile antenna.

One of the best RGs out there. Amazingly detailed, earth shattering flexibility and articulation and what a beefy profile. Honestly this has always been my absolute favorite mobile suit in any universe and I finally have it in model kit form. The ONE caveat is the prebuilt inner frame bits in the arms. Will these hold up for longer than a few months? We will see. History tells us... no.... but we shall see.

As with the core Unicorn, its a good kit. One of the turning point kits between old (flawed) RGs and new (awesome) RGs. The only major issues come from the inner frame arm pieces, which are a bit stiff out of box. You need to GENTLY move them to get the articulation, etc. It was here where i snapped mine. I was able to jury-rig it to put it back together but regardless, its something to be aware of. Addtionally, the arm pivot parts (G35) are fragile and prone to cracking too. There are metal parts to replace them and I do recommend them. overall, its awesome. Great details, decent color (the gold is hideous but paintable like mine) and solid articulation for poses.

This kit is no showstopper. Its not perfect, but it is a solid, good looking kit that will last. Overall, the detail is amazing. Its got great panel lines, good profile and has that RG presence that we all love. The wings are spectacular and are my favorite prt of the kit. The shield is huge, and when attached to the arms, makes it impossible to pose it for the most part. Speaking of arms, they just arent long enough (and are too chunky) to pose well. The claw parts really hamper movement here. Not a fan of this. While i haven't done the transformation yet, i am sure it is one of the better Wing transformations out there (next to Wing zero ver ka). Overall, a good, affordable RG with solid presence and a sweet simple buid.

Start to finish this build is incredible. The level of detail inside and out is a amazing for something this small. The color separation is quite good as well. This kit is simply packed with features and the best of the best of model kit tech. Articulation is one of the best out there and the lack of a pre-built inner frame means this WILL last unlike early RGs. Overall, its an exceptional kit, customizable, fun to build and is an amazing presence on any RG shelf.

This is a tiny perfect grade. The build was fantastic, the detail insane, and the transformation was actually quite well thought out. The kit is solid in both modes and I think this was the point where RG took its first steps towards the incredible mini MGs they are today. One small note. The arm pivot joints are prone to flex and break, as are the arm frame parts themselves. Beware of these small issues. Look up the metal parts you can get to make this a truly rock solid build! I have since decided I need to have all 3 RG Unicorns. Looking fwd to building them all.

They are better suited to 1/144 scale kits. Your MG Hyaku Shiki is a 1/100.
