First time I've ever actually been disappointed with a Dspiae product. The 20 included stir rods are 440c steel and work perfectly with the mixer. Unfortunately, being steel these will outright rust in water, and after 5 days in X20A acrylic thinner (only thinner, no paint) there is noticeable corrosion on the rods. After 5 days in Mr Leveling Thinner there is no noticeable effect so these are good for lacquers. To try and resolve this I got some PTFE magnetic stir bars, but they will not work nicely with the Dspiae mixer no matter what size of stir bar I try. The dspiae mixer spins *too fast* for them, causing the magnet to slip and bounce the stir bar frantically around the jar, and in order to get them to work I need to place 1 pound 5 oz of weight on top of the paint jar to slow the motor down enough to not lose the PTFE stir bars. The product listing states it can be used with battery or AC, and spins at about half the speed on battery, but when I open the battery compartment on the bottom up there is literally nowhere to put batteries, so I am unable to test this missing feature. The instruction booklet also makes absolutely no mention of battery power. 2 stars only because it works with it's own included stir rods but these stir rods are not ideal for long term use. Overall, this is a nice product that is seriously held back by it's lack of a speed control device.
Comparable in size initially to the dspiae mini-vice but opens up nice and wide, and the included pegs with silicon covers massively expand the range of uses for how you can hold things. Vice rotates down to a perfect 90 degree angle and the adjustments function smoothly. On top of all that, dspiae's signature anodized red finish makes a nice standout tool in your collection.

Great rotary tool and will be even better once the other bits become available on Newtype soon. Makes a fantastic paint stirrer if you stick a piece of runner in it. Just don't pull it out while it's on. Ask me how I know.

They do what they say on the tin. Inexpensive and lint-free wipes, perfect for cleaning out your airbrush fluid cup and parts without getting fibers in it. Not as thick as a paper towel so they can reach tighter spots. I keep a box in arm's reach of my airbrush.

When you stack it 6 racks high it seems stable enough, but I've had it wobble worryingly a few times on me. The connections between each acrylic piece and the metal rack are tension-fit screws with O-Rings that will rely on you getting a good squeeze on the acrylic pieces. For the price, I was hoping for more stability, and a wall-mount option would be nice. Does not hold Mr. Hobby large jars (the 40ml ones) as they are too stout to go all the way in, but the 40ml Tamiya jars go in it fine.
Seemingly higher quality than most included nipper covers, which rocks since they're sold separately. Certainly better than any of the plastic ones, regardless.

I only took one star off because the rounded chuck makes it slip in my Dspiae vise handle if the blade does catch, but if you don't baby the blade it works great, and that's true of most similar tools.

My niece built this as her first kit and it left her wanting a regular Zaku II to go along with it, and then more kits after that!

The longer handled tool shown on the top is missing from the contents listing. Any idea what it is?

I believe it is a metal panel liner. Kind of like a quill.
