This was my first completed HG kit after starting with an RG kit. I used this kit to test Tamiya Panel Liner (it shows, unfortunately). It was super simple, had a couple of different choices for weapons, and turned out to be VERY posable. It's bigger than my RG X1 Crossbone but smaller than the HG Silver Bullet Suppressor I'm building in parallel. There WERE a few fitment issues... The posable hands were very loose, so I used the Gunprimer joint tape to reinforce those. The axe holster on the left skirt was NOT set up to stick firmly into the available slot, unlike the pair of grenades on the right skirt. I ended up trimming the tab for the slot down, but that made it worse. I used some Tamiya thin cement to get the holster (trimmed down) to stay put, and the axe seemed to be OK after everything was dry. 3. Moving the legs around may cause the hoses to pop loose. They don't snap anywhere at one end, which is why they pose so well in the first place. However, they can end up falling out with some leg poses. I can't wait to build another Zaku. Char's Red Comet HG is in the queue.
