Despite the incredibly intimidating *nine* runners of parts, this build went quickly and pretty easily. The model itself is one of the most posable I've built yet and looks gorgeous even straight out of the box. The only downside is a weak waist joint, but it's hard to mark the Qubeley down for such a common flaw in HG kits.

It may be 24 years old, but the Hizack kit is quick and easy to assemble and balances well when posed. I had very little trouble with the assembly despite being a novice, although my eye-piece background sticker was too large and I needed to cut it to size. I probably struggled the most with the fiddly hose pieces, which are held in place not by friction but by tension and prayer.

This was my second gunpla after the HG RX-78-2 and I had a lot of fun. Easy build with parts cleanly laid out according to which step of the build they're used in. My one complaint is that the pauldrons are slightly finicky (I lost part of one of them trying to get it together) and somewhat loose when they're attached.

Does this go in and out of stock regularly or am I in for a long wait on a reissue?

It comes and goes. A lot of these non-cash-cow kits get a reprint every year or two. But this is entirely up to Bandai when they set their reprint schedule. Best to wishlist it to be notified when it comes back in stock.
