Yeah, this is a great kit -- well worth the money. That said, there are some sub-assemblies that are a bit tedious. It has tons of tiny detail parts. All told these minor things add to the challenge, and make the assembled model that much more rewarding. IF I were to change anything: I would prefer a more traditional Char salmon/red to the fire orange used on some of the outer armor parts.

The model is cool, and is mostly a fun build. Until it is time to apply the stickers. There are small accent color stickers that need to be add3d as you build. Not too bad to place, but annoying when you pick up the subassembly and the sticker moves, or sticks to your fingers. That had me pretty well frustrated by the time I got to the shield. Which is where the stickers completely lost me. There are several long, pin stripes stickers that go around the blue translucent pieces on the shield. These never looked right on mine. They will eventually get removed and painted.

Got this as part of the Raser Set. Results WILL vary. Basic use is to buff off any debris, and give a final spit shine. So Raser, grey Balancer, then green, then white, followed by a buff with Recover. Softer plastics may require a couple of run throughs, but missing a step yields far less impressive results. It's best on high gloss items -- like the red components of Shin Musha. On less glossy pieces, the difference can be subtle. I still highly recommend. But buy the whole system and you'll see the best results.

This piece is my intro to Kotobukiya / Megami Device. So I have little room to compare. That said, it's a fun kit. The hips, waist, and torso joints can be fussy -- especially if you have large hands. I had to open the kit back up twice and strongly reccomend keeping a part separator handy. Finished model is gorgeous, posable, and holds poses very well. My only question is how to get the up-armored parts....
