Waist gap is my main issue with this kit. Overall it has a great amount of detail, and is a fun build; however the waist has a gap & looseness to it that will inevitably lead to it leaning/sagging once the strike pack is attached. Also the old style RG/MG hands are a bummer. Good kit if you want a high detail 1/144 scale Aile strike kit to display, but if you want something you can mess around with; go for the entry grade, or high grade.

To really make this kit show its full potential, you're really going to need the Skygrasper expansion set. The base model only comes with balled and fragile articulated hands, and the only way to get HG-style weapon hands is through the Skygrasper. The AILE pack makes the Strike a bit back heavy, but you can compensate by leaning it forward. However, the Launcher and Sword packs have fantastic quality and are much easier to work with, and IMO the AILE looks best on the Skygrasper. It sucks that they sold the two separately, because both kind of need each other to live up to their full potential. A side note is that due to the pre-molded internal frame, the posing can be a bit flimsy and you really need to treat it with care (I accidentally snapped the 'femur' while trying to break in the joints, luckily it's hanging on by a thread). Overall, it's a great MODEL, so treat it like one, and buy the Skygrasper for the full Striker Pack experience.

It's a decent RG that snaps together well. It's definitely worth grabbing an action base for posing.
